Right, definitely more the longfist push variation to me, but technique wise, brush knee push none the less. Or you can think of it as the technique with left hand hook moving back and the rear hand push. I didn't even think about the second being "white crane" technique-wise, but you're totally right. Once again I would just compare it to longfist left leg front sweeping with the left hand hooking back or stretch kick with the left hooking hand (kinda in between the two, but the idea for tripping while pulling the hand back is the same).

The first one looks like Number four in Tan Tui.
